About

I'm Olivia, a surrealist artist creating dreamlike worlds through ink and acrylic paintings in Toronto. My journey from Russia to Canada, combined with my background in TV and film design, influences my artistic perspective.

My work explores the intersection of reality and imagination, drawing from shared human experiences to create mysterious, figurative pieces that invite viewers into a contemplative head space. 

I create one-of-a-kind fine art, prints, and a carefully chosen selection of home goods and accessories. Each piece is made with longevity in mind.

When I design something or choose a manufacturer, I look for FSC certification, organic materials, and production in places like Canada where workers are treated fairly. Everything is either one of a kind, or made on demand, so there is as little waste as possible. I think about how each object will age and whether someone might discover it years from now in a second-hand store and fall in love with it all over again.

If I can picture someone finding one of my pieces and treasuring it in its second life, then I know I've created something worth making.

When I'm not creating in my studio, I'm usually spending time with my two cats or working on illustrations for film and publishing projects.
