Private Commissions (Original Paintings)

If you’re looking to commission an original painting for yourself or as a gift, please use the intake form below. It helps me understand what you’re looking for so I can confirm a quote and timeline by email.

Pricing (personal painting commissions)

Rate: $12 per linear inch (width + height, measured in inches on the final canvas size)

Projects start at: $150

What’s included: concept/sketch approval + painting + varnish + hanging hardware

Extras: shipping/packing, framing, rush timelines, complex requests

If you’re not sure on size, submit the form with an approximate range and I’ll confirm a quote by email.

Payment schedule (split into 3)

  • 1) Deposit (to book your slot): 33% of the total
  • 2) After sketch approval (to begin painting): 33%
  • 3) Complete Painting: 33% + shipping.

Final delivery happens after the last payment clears. Shipping is calculated based on size and location. Local pickup is free.

Revisions + refunds

  • Sketch revisions: Includes 2 rounds of revisions at the sketch stage.
  • Final painting revisions: Includes 1 round of small minor adjustments (for example: slight color tweaks or small detail changes).
  • No refunds: Due to the custom nature of commissioned work, all payments are non-refundable once the commission has begun.

Timeline

  • I work slowly and intentionally — please expect 1–3 months from confirming the commission to final delivery (timing varies by size/complexity).
  • If you have a specific deadline, mention it in your request and I’ll let you know what’s possible.

Usage rights (personal commissions)

  • This commission is for personal display/use only and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.
