The heroine rode across the tundra on the polar bear. She and the bear where in sync, the capricious animal having finally accepted her and her mission as aligned with their own. As they gathered speed their combined energies merged and created the storm that would sweep across the land. Bringing in the true winter, the Snow and the Frost. No more would their people stagnate in the false fall, unable to even have a hope of spring. The winter would bring healing to the land. A time of hibernation and rest. Now the heroine just needed to get to her destination on time. Bringing back the winter was only part of what needed to be done.
